Zagreb. 3rd Day.

What a night!! Big storm, high winds, everything blowing away. Tried to sleep with the windows open because it was a nice breeze…..it turn out being a big storm, so windows closed at 11 PM

Woke up, nice looking at the window and seeing the trees moving like skeletons, coffee umbrellas blowing away as well as chairs……really a day to stay put, but after breakfast (similar to yesterdays. 🙂 ) decided to take the Batmobile and go to a Mall.

Arena Centar, where we saw so many shoes stores!!!! Adidas, Merrell, Vans, Sketchers, you named it, and then Zara, Ecco, Polo, Aldo, Armani,Benetton, Calvin Klein, GAP, …you can imagine….so we walk a lot around the mall, and then time to have lunch, or early dinner……Choices: McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC,…….we decided to ask Chiquita, you know, our navigator girl, and after many turnabout, and many recalculating (because the road was under construction) we got to Grill Viktorija, after 1 hour driving (it supposed to be 10 minutes away), mind we did not have a clue where we were going, so here it is!!!

After that delicious meal, and still under the rain, we went back to the car. OH! Forgot to say, I parked the car between the street and the sidewalk, like everybody else, 3 blocks away, so, back to the car, we knew we needed something to drink, so we looked for a market, got there, bought what we needed, and back to the hotel.

Now, talking about our families, our old families, and the Czechs and Slovakian’s , the evening is going by.
