Woke up at 6 AM, I am asking myself why again……organizing the day, knowing that after today we have only 1 more day and then back home.

Got to breakfast, amazing breakfast, everything you can think of and a little more, prosciutto, cheeses, fruits, eggs, hams, coffees, German potato salad, sautéed mushrooms, all kinds of breads…….I had some cereal and milk….oh well, but got a sandwich to go. Jackie got her normal stuff, very american, But very little, I got so lucky, because we share every meal and I end up with 3/4!!!!

Back to the room to get ready for the day, called Uber and we went to the old town. And here it is! First picture is a map of Dubrovnik the old town.

Time to take a break and eat something, we have to settle for Pizza. Croatians said that their pizza is the best in the whole world, we have to try it.

Round, with cheese, some tomato sauce, arugula……..sounds familiar??? It was good, thin crust and with a Beer. YAY!!!!!

Kept on walking, wanting to go to the Wall, but it was too many steps, could not do it. 😦 Sorry, you may have to google it!!!)

Had an ice cream (orange cheese cake) delicious, oh! I forgot to tell you about yesterday’s icecream in Split. : Lemon pie Ginger…..OH!!!! The best Icecream ever!!!!

Back to today……I brought my charger with me, because my phone gets low in battertoo soon, so we are ready to call Uber to go back to the hotel, my battery were down, i had my charger but forgot the cable!!!! Anyway, started walking out of the old Town, towards somewhere,,,,,,,dont know where…..uphill…….no, turn around and try to get Uber. No service,,,,asked a Taxi home much….150 Kunas,,,,,kept walking,,,,,asked another taxi. 100 kunas (we paid 41 kunas with Uber) and we refused to give to this robbers any extra money……so 10% charged in my phone, no service, so I went back to the old town, , got internet, got Uber, gave directions where to meet…..so I wrote: Pile Gate (Main gate to the old town, ) but there you can find buses, taxis, private cars……I had the 4 last numbers of my Uber car……not in sight……(45 Kunas) finally we decided for a Taxi, asked how much and agree in 80 Kunas…….got back to the hotel!

Back into the room, happy hour from 3 to 6:30….why not…but before a little Steam bath, Jacuzzi and a sauna…..not bad., and we scheduled a facial for tomorrow!!!!!!

Went for happy hour, Jackie got a Margarita, and I a Caipirinha,,,,,it was OK, nothing crazy and nothing to eat with it, no chips or salsa…..
